Now, you can get your Mac on — and on the ‘net — anywhere. I don’t know the details behind this, but if it’s true, I may have found the reason to scrimp and save for another notebook computer. And who knows? With Apple apparently putting the pressure on the Korean government to get rid of the WIPI protocol that has essentially kept Apple out of the Korean cellphone market (technological protectionism, anyone?), we might be getting iPhones sometime soon, too.
Well, we can hope.

Mmmm…tasty WiBro! Actually I’m not entirely convinced I need it. The last I saw you were having to pay W19000/mnth for 1GB. Compare that to W25000 for 1GB for HSDPA on SK Telecom and it’s reasonable, but you can’t beat W10000/mnth for NESPOT and unlimited data. Plus if you use the MAC address changer on the NESPOT website you can quickly set yourself up with what ever device you decide: Macbook, Phone, iPod Touch, Skype Phone…
More importantly this reporter will be reporting live from outside the nearest KTF store, where he will be first in line for an iPhone. Lining up at least 3 days in advance, and dancing on the grave of WIPI.
