Not Chicken Little…

The won is falling, the won is falling! And Bloomberg reports that it almost hit 1400, stopping at 1399 at the close of trading at 3PM today. Now, it stands at 1,395 won to the dollar. Ouch.

That’s the lowest level since the days of the Asian economic crisis, back in 1998. Unlike the famous fairy tale, this continuing fall is very real. Man, I wish I was getting paid in dollars…umm…maybe not, come to think of it. Euros? *SIGH*

Man, Fatman is so depressed – that makes the X Burger even more unaffordable. We are weeping for our foie gras.

are you kidding, Fatman? With the Won so low, may as well spend it in Korea — won’t go far anywhere else. May as well get another X-burger; at this rate, (lame exchange rate joke goes here: I’ve heard’em all; I was canadian during the ’90s)
