Homemade is best, and it&#039;s not too difficult. Definitely a good birthday soup if made correctly.

Fatman would estimate a good 95% of the stuff dished up is bland, slimy, and pointless, and certainly no way to start a birthday . . . but oh!  that 5% can be glorious:  meaty, mouth-filling, satisfying and loaded with umami.  Oh, if only the lousy cafeteria stuff didn&#039;t ruin the name of 미역국!</description>

		<description>Yeah 미역국 is always kind of disapointing, I feel like it is the meatloaf of Korean food.  You know not bad but nothing to get exited about.  I&#039;d be especially nonplused if I had to eat 미역국 on my birthday.   The rest looks good though.</description>
