Obama knows his Korean. Off the cuff, when taking the question of a kid who identified himself as Korean, Obama greets him in perfect Korean.
Being highly-educated and culturally sensitive does count for something, apparently. (HT to here)

My goodness. My country has elected a president who embraces knowledge, reading, and trying to understand foreign cultures in a respectful manner. Does this make him a terrorist sympathizer? According to many Republicans, I’ll bet it does.
Great clip. Obama’s the man. I’ve never been prouder of America.

Thats nice, but Denzel Washigton does him one better in training day. He even through in a Quenchana before he arrested Snoop Doggy dog in the Korean Grocery store.

But Denzel’s accent was horrible, to be frank.
Obama’s was near perfect.
Point: Obama!

Awesome! Thanks for sharing that video!
Too bad I just finished watching Zeitgeist and have lost all my fuzzy feelings for the U.S.

I think Denzel’s Korean was the worst I’ve ever heard from anyone. Worse than the general’s “katchi kapshida,” worse than the foreigners who rhyme “poontang” and “Bundang,” worse than the dumbasses who say “meck-jew juicy-o.” Let’s never speak of Denzel’s Korean again.

I agree with Jaim. I have not been this proud of America in a long time. Obama, the hopes and dreams of Americans and citizens from countries all over the world rest squarely on your shoulders. I wish you the best in fulfilling your stern obligations as leader of the free world. May wisdom direct you, humility guide you, and knowledge pave the way to a better future for us all.
God bless Obama, and God Bless America.
