Some people will be happy to hear they can now publicly engage in coprophagia in public with no fear of social repercussions!
Just head on over to the Dalki cart in front of Ssamziegil in Insadong and take a gander at the gourmet bites of delicate 똥-shaped versions of the traditional 잉어빵. Normally these red-bean paste filled cakes are shaped like goldfish, carp, or sometimes shrimp. That’s too tame for this artistic venue though, hence the new versions made to look like the cartoon character Dalki and her . . . um . . . friends.
These particular cakes are a little bit more baked-tasting than the usual, but not in an unpleasant way. All told, Fatman would rather just have regular 잉어빵, or better yet, some 풀빵/국화빵 from the cart parked at the intersection just north of Ssamziegil.

Curious. Today at work somebody brought in a cake. The cake was served in a cat litter box. The topping was all crumbly like cat litter. On top of that were a number of cat-turd-like chocolate turd loafs. The server was a cat-poop-scoop.

During university I worked at a Veterinary Teaching Hospital and it was not uncommon to see Kitty Litter Cakes appear for intern birthdays. Photo and recipe available here.
