If they're trying to make life better for English teachers, more power to them. Despite <a href="http://kushibo.blogspot.com/2009/02/atek-human-rights-abuse-solidarity.html" rel="nofollow">my own light-hearted mockery</a> of their shrill claims of human rights abuse and my dismay that they're clogging up an already overworked and understaffed human rights organization with their frivolous claims of human rights abuse, I do hope they succeed in making English-teaching a more attractive profession in Korea that will attract a group of teachers that are more likely to treat it like a profession and are less likely to engage in the kinds of behaviors that reasonable people would find objectionable.

But from what I've seen so far, I won't hold my breath. When I'm back in Korea, though, neither would I object to meeting up in Itaewon (aka, "the other White meet") with these folks to <strike>give them a piece of my mind</strike> share some ideas.
