Korean Movies Subtitled in English 2009/03/23-2009/03/25

슬픔보다 더슬픈 이야기 (More Than Blue) is still going and Lotte Cinema have expanded screenings to 고양 (Go-yang). Nothing new on the horizon yet, but April sees the release of several interesting films including 박찬욱’s (Park Chan-wook) 박쥐 (Thirst), so here’s hoping for subtitled vampire thrills in the near future.

More Than Blue is showing at the Myeong-dong Lotte Cinema:

Monday (23rd) – 0950, 1150 and 1540
Tuesday (24th) – 0950, 1150 and 1540
Wednesday (25th) – 1140, 1720 and 2350

And at the Ansan Lotte Cinema:

Monday (23rd) – 0825, 1030, 1245, 1500, 1715, 1930, 2135 and 2340
Tuesday (24th) – 0825, 1030, 1245, 1500, 1715, 1930, 2135 and 2340
Wednesday (25th) – 0825, 1030, 1245, 1500, 1715, 1930, 2135 and 2340

Also at the Busan Lotte Cinema:

Monday (23rd) – 1200, 1615, 2230 and 2445
Tuesday (24th) – 1200, 1615, 2230 and 2445
Wednesday (25th) – 1200, 1615, 2230 and 2445

And finally at the Go-yang Lotte Cinema:

Monday (23rd) – 1840
Wednesday (25th) – 1210

For some reason the screenings at Milyang seemed to have stopped, but hopefully subtitled showings will continue through this week at the other cinemas.

All listings were correct at the time of writing, but could change depending on Lotte Cinema’s mood swings.

UPDATE: Milyang updates are back on naver.com, so here’s the screenings for tomorrow at the Milyang Lotte Cinema:

Tuesday (24th) – 1130, 1330, 1530, 1730, 1930 and 2130

I’m glad that this is useful to some people, I just hope that the subtitled screenings keep on going through this year and beyond.

Well, subtitled screenings will increase if people attend them…and people can’t attend them if they don’t know where and when they are, so I think these posts are a step toward keeping it going, especially once people get to know that they can count on them being here when they need a reference.
