Norks tested another nuke?

Either that or there is some sizable seismic activity in North Korea’s nuclear testing area.  And no sooner after pundits were predicting they’d do it this year.

Picked a nice sunny Memorial Day (American) to do it, too.

UPDATE: Ah.  Confirmed (CNN).  And confirmed (The Onion)

It’s time to test a minuteman in Pyeongyang. According to the BBC the explosion of this blast was five to ten killotones, much bigger than the half a kiloton bomb that was tested three years ago. The indication here is that while they were in the six party talks, they were obviously refining their technology and lying to the rest of the world. Hopefully this will prompt China to take more serious steps in changing the management of that dispicable excuse of a country.

A lot of concern from new teacher here in Korea. When is ATEK going to react to this issue, and start providing information, resources, assistance, counseling?

I don’t know TJ. You’re a member, aren’t you? Ask internally and report back to everyone what you find out.
