This also helps out the US Army so we have accurate numbers of how many people we’re going to have to evacuate, because right now we only exercise the families of servicemembers in our bi-annual Courageous Channel NEO exercises. Everyone else is just a guesstimate.

People should register with their embassies as soon as they arrive in Korea anyway. Right now, its just a nice reminder to do so.
