And you should. Rate My Hagwon continues to provide leadership in a practical way for the teaching community by organizing a second care-package collection, Wednesday (today) at 7:30, same place (Nambu Bus Terminal Station, exit 5), and providing the address where you can send things, express mail.

You’d want others to do it for you.
Will there be another collection on Thursday? Same-day announcements are hard to plan for people with schedules.

Yes, wholeheartedly yes! Even if it’s not us, let’s just make it for the rest of the week same time same place, because no one knows for sure how long this will last and there are 70 people there.

what types of things would be most needed (and could be put in the mail)? Do you have access to reading materials? newspapers? books? Do you need smokes? what are the popular brands? snacks? board games? cards? There are folks in Daegu ready & willing to help~!!

Stephanie,
Imagine if you were housed in temporary dorming freshman year without A/C. According to the quarantine official we met, alcohol and smokes are prohibited, although, people are still managing to get them in (we don’t recommend sending those items). Because only a few of the teachers have laptops and WiFi access, I think that most people would be interested in reading or creative output like arts & crafts. Notepads, markers, pens are good for that. Snacks? Anything really, but some people who have base access are thinking of sending American snacks, etc.
Also, when you send the package this message will aid in the delivery: ” 격리자를 위한 기증 및 격려품” which means care/comfort items for the quarantined.
